Dr Sarah George is the Deputy Director of the Centre of Materials Engineering (CME) at the University of Cape Town. She also leads an aluminium research group at UCT; which is a collaboration between the CME, Centre of Research in Computational & Applied Mechanics (CERECAM) and various stakeholders in the local South African aluminium industry.
